LONGING TO KNOW

When will an African man love himself?
For he had thrown himself into the pond of mud.
When will an African man learn to realize?
For to him the sunrise never differs from the sunset.
When will an African man give love a try?
For his emotions always give rise to hatred.
When will an African man learn to praise,
Praise the beauty of the most precious gift; women and children?
I long to know…
When will an African man stand up for his manhood.

How can an African man wake up alive, while his conscious is deadly asleep?
How can, in an African man hatred defeat and burry love in that unseen grave?
Oh yea! His mind can be encrusted by peace.
Peace being a tree whose leaves would never shrivel.
His heart can flow a stream of passion,
Passion being an ever flowing waterfall.

African man, turn back and face your misdeed
Grasp your manhood weapons and battle your misdeed.
You shall alleviate the growing grief you sowed in Africa.
African man, make peace…
African man, save Africa.
